Pizza Punt Uit: Website for an on-site pizza caterer

Pizza Punt Uit started in 2023 as a passion for making pizza and soon grew into a catering business. They bring a gas oven to weddings, birthdays and company parties, and every pizza comes out of it fresh. They are based in Hoofddorp, but happily travel further.

The brief

It started with a passion: dough, an oven and the joy of baking pizza for other people. What began as a hobby grew into real catering, with homemade dough, fresh ingredients and an oven that goes wherever the party is.

The catch: anyone who had never tasted a Pizza Punt Uit pizza did not know they existed. A catering business grows mainly by word of mouth, and that only reaches people who are already planning a party. That curiosity needed somewhere to go: a place to see what Pizza Punt Uit does, and to ask for a quote straight away.

What we built

We built a site that makes you hungry. At the top you see what it is all about: the oven, the dough and pizzas fresh from the fire. Below that is the menu, and what earlier guests thought of it.

The quote form is short and to the point. It asks for the date, the number of guests and the location up front, because that is exactly what is needed to give a price. Anyone who would rather call or send a message finds the number without searching.

The menu and reviews are managed in a simple admin area. When a new pizza joins the menu or a new review comes in, it is online in no time.

What it delivers

The site has made Pizza Punt Uit visible, and it shows most in the requests: clearly more of them have come in since.

Because the form asks for what is needed straight away, a price can go out quickly. That leaves the time where it belongs: with the dough.
