Blå Marine: Multilingual website for eight holiday cottages on the Baltic coast
Blå Marine rents out eight Scandinavian-style wooden cottages in Grzybowo, four kilometres from Kołobrzeg and less than a kilometre from the Baltic beach. After an earlier project together, the owners asked us to rebuild their website.

The brief
When they took over the park, the previous owners’ website came with it. It was dated, uninviting and did not work well on mobile, while many people look for a holiday home on their phone: on the sofa, on the train, over lunch.
A shame, because the cottages are beautiful: light wood, a private terrace, two bedrooms and room for five. For children there is a playground, a trampoline and a private little beach with sea sand. People book a holiday home on feeling, and that feeling did not come across on the old site.
What we built
We designed a calm, light site that feels like the cottages themselves. Large photos, plenty of space and exactly what a guest wants to know: how the cottages are laid out, how far the beach is, what there is for children and what to do in the area.
Guests come from several countries, so the site reads in Polish, English, German and Dutch. It works as nicely on a phone as on a laptop. There is also something to book outside the high season, with packages for a quiet spring or autumn, or for working remotely by the sea for a while.
In the admin area the owners keep texts, prices, cottages, routes and photos up to date themselves.
What it delivers
The new site reaches far more people than the old one, and finally shows how lovely the cottages are.
The owners publish a new seasonal price or a sunny beach photo themselves, without involving us. We keep the site running.
